| WHO WE SERVE |
The $11-million that the Detlef Schrempf Foundation has raised since 1996 has served hundreds of children and their families and over one hundred Northwest children’s organizations. Detlef and Mari Schrempf’s desire to offer support to all children – whether they’re medically fragile, economically disadvantaged, developmentally disabled or typically developed – lends to their perspective that we are all one community....and that community comes in many forms. | HOW WE SERVE |
The Detlef Schrempf Foundation is a special event fundraising organization. It is a 501 c 3 non-profit, specializing in producing sports and entertainment events. The formula is simple....the foundation selects a benefiting charity in conjunction with an event, then produces the event, pays the expenses and finally, donates net-proceeds to the charity.
| HOW WE SELECT |
Through the years, the Detlef Schrempf Foundation has developed partnering guidelines adapted to the specific fundraising event. Request for Proposals are not part of the process. Personal, get-to-know interviews and site tours is the sole method of determining a prospective charity partner. Albeit a loosely structured process, the personal, relationship-building process ultimately reveals the likelihood of a mutually benefiting partnership.
